Information we collect

HHTDN collects the information entered in the nomination form, contact information, supporting documents, photographs, technical security logs and administrative review records. This information is collected to receive, validate, evaluate and administer the Tourism Awards.

How information is used

Information is used for eligibility checks, nomination evaluation, correspondence, duplicate prevention, audit and security, event administration, and—only for selected or shortlisted nominees—appropriate awards publicity. Sensitive identifiers and private supporting documents are not published.

Access and retention

Nomination records are available only to authorised HHTDN administrators and appointed reviewers according to their role. Records should be retained only for the awards cycle, reasonable review and legal periods, then securely deleted or anonymised under HHTDN's approved retention schedule.

Security

The system uses encrypted transport, password hashing, access controls, session timeouts, request validation, private file storage and audit logging. No online service can guarantee absolute security; suspected incidents should be reported promptly.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion where applicable by contacting awards@hhtdnawards.org. Some records may need to be retained for legitimate award administration or legal requirements.
